The surgeon at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,000, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $4,900 short.
my wife has been in and out of Los Angeles Regional Medical Center since June. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Swati struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Swati won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
