Prakash was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in March. The surgeon at Pune Community Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $1,050 short.
my father has been in and out of Pune Community Hospital since March. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Prakash struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
