Kunal needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
Kunal has run a laundry service for nine years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $650 will put it back on its feet.

For nine years I have run a laundry service in Mumbai. In July, a break-in took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $650 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $470
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $55
• Shop repairs and licensing: $45
• Working capital for the first month: $80
I hope life is good to you.

Praying for you, Kunal. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from London
You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Gujranwala so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Mumbai
Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Cairo.
