Kshitija needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Kshitija has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Mumbai Kidney Centre alone. After a foot amputation, Kshitija can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 29 km each way.
Kshitija is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope it all works out, Janhavi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.
Thanks for sharing this, Janhavi. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Gazipur.
Your post was clear and honest. After 26 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Mumbai
thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Medellín.
Thinking of you and your family. Wishing Kshitija a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Don't give up. Love from Córdoba.
