Pixel is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 25 June we rushed to the San Jose Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,000. They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $350 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the San Jose Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
