Kirit is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Muzaffarpur University, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600. The registrar has said Kirit can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kirit has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kirit would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Kirit isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Muzaffarpur University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $600 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $185 • Final term tuition: $320 • Exam and lab fees: $30 • Textbooks and materials: $65 I hope life is good to you.
