Keep the water on at Sandeep's home in Kathmandu
A disconnection notice for water arrived and Sandeep needs $100 before July.

The water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on July unless I pay $100. I have never been late before March's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $15 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through the cold months without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Sandeep's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $100 goes:
• Water arrears: $45
• Reconnection and late fees: $20
• Down payment on a payment plan: $35
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

keep going, Sandeep. Hope you get there. I hope July is when things finally get easier. All the best.
Wishing you peace, Sandeep. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 7 people at work. All the best.
Thinking of you, Sandeep. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Prayagraj.
Best of luck. Shared it with a few friends. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Kathmandu.
