The heating account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $800. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $100 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $800 goes: • Gas arrears: $510 • Reconnection and late fees: $145 • Down payment on a payment plan: $145 I hope life is good to you.
