Akira is behind on heating bills after an unexpected car repair and needs $550 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless I pay $550. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $90 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through summer without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Akira's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Akira.
Sure. The biggest one is electricity arrears, $370. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
