Keep the gas on at Jameson's home in Birmingham

The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $750. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $95 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without gas isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home.
