Help Arianna with an overdue heating bill before the cold months

Arianna is behind on heating bills after my partner leaving the household and needs $500 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 2 months behind. Arianna received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $500 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Arianna called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $180 first, which isn't available. The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We can't cook, keep medicine cold or heat the home. Arianna is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $500 goes: • Water arrears: $310 • Reconnection and late fees: $90 • Down payment on a payment plan: $100 Thank you for reading my story.
