Keep the electricity and water on at Nathan's home in Christchurch
Nathan is behind on electricity and water bills after losing my job in January and needs $650 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless I pay $650. I have never been late before losing my job in January.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $145 first, which I don't have.
I live with an elderly mother, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Nathan's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
