Help Carmen start the school year with the right tools
Carmen won a place at the León Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Carmen earned a place in Year 11 at the León Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $350, which is more than they have.
Carmen loves biology and wants to become an engineer. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $350 goes:
• Laptop: $165
• School uniform and shoes: $65
• Textbooks and workbooks: $85
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $35
Thank you so much.

Keep going, Nicolás. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings.
Sending love, Nicolás. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. All the best!
Thinking of you and your family, Nicolás. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from San Francisco.
