Keep a roof over Tian's head in Los Angeles
The closure of the factory left Tian short on rent for 4 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,750.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $1,650
• Late fees and court costs: $140
• Utilities in arrears: $190
• First month of rent as a buffer: $770
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending good thoughts. This could happen to any of us. I'm in retail myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you!
Praying for you. Your post was clear and honest. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Dortmund.
Stay strong, Tian. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. All the best.
thinking of you. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Hang in there, Tian. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best!
