Keep a roof over Paul's head in Mukono
A long illness left Paul short on rent for 5 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $500.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $500 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• First month of rent as a buffer: $120
• Rent arrears (5 months): $360
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong, Paul. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Paul!
Hope you get there. My neighbor in Rome donated after I showed her your page. All the best
