Keep a roof over Donal's head in Dublin
After the closure of the factory, Donal is 4 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

When the hotel closed in December, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Friday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,450.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by February, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $320
• First month of rent as a buffer: $630
• Rent arrears (4 months): $1,500
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in New York this morning. Thinking of Dublin.
Rooting for you. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Mumbai donated after I showed her your page.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Dublin.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Greetings from Warsaw
Sending love, Donal. Shared this with my family. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Half-Way Tree.
