Keep a roof over Andrea's head in Milan
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Andrea needs $2,850 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Milan.

When the packaging plant closed in September, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Friday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,850.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I've 1 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $500
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,250
• Utilities in arrears: $100

Best of luck. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless
So sorry you're going through this. Looking forward to the next update. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
