Jyoti needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
Jyoti lost a full set of tools to floodwater and needs $550 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Mumbai. In July, floodwater took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $35
• Replacing a full set of tools: $390
• Working capital for the first month: $125
Glad we found this place.

Sending strength, Jyoti. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We're a small family in Cầu Giấy but we're thinking of you. Take care.
Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 29 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
Hope you make a strong comeback. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Mumbai.
Keep going, Jyoti. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
