Jules needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Paris
Jules drives for a living in Paris, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 6 weeks.

I make my living with my taxi. 6 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $900. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $900 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $490
• Labor charges: $150
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $185
• Towing and inspection: $75
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care. Your post was clear and honest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking
I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Cartagena.

Sending strength, Jules. Hope you get there. Love from Colombo.
praying for you, Jules. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Bergamo so I could bring a meal.
Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care.
