Joy wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Joy can't afford the care She needs after the death of her spouse; we're asking for $450.

I'm caring for me, who's 77. After the death of her spouse Joy can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Joy desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Joy worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $450 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $35
• Medication and prescriptions: $45
• Part-time carer (eight months): $370
I hope life is good to you.

Wishing you the best, Joy. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
Rooting for you, Joy. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Thinking of Epe.
hope it all works out, Joy. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Milan
best of luck, Joy. Hope the doctors have good news. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings.
Good luck. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Melbourne this morning. Love from Melbourne.
