A first-generation student, Joseph needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of an accounting degree.

Joseph is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at Birmingham Community College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,500.
The registrar has said Joseph can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Joseph has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Joseph would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Joseph isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $880
• Final term tuition: $2,250
• Exam and lab fees: $260
• Textbooks and materials: $110
Thank you so much.

Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Quezon City.
Good luck with the exams, you've got this. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Thinking of you and your family. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Feira de Santana.

Good luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Thủ Đức.
