José needs a powered wheelchair - help us make it happen
A powered wheelchair would give José independence - we're $2,800 away.

José lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Brasília Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,800.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment José could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $120
• Delivery and set-up: $60
• powered wheelchair: $2,620
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon, Natália. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours.
Sending strength, Natália. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
Keep going, Natália. Hope the doctors have good news. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
