Every year the Free Bike Repair Day brings together 195 neighbors in Jacksonville. I help organize it with 12 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I hope life is good to you.

  • Best of luck. Great idea, hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.

    • Hang in there, Natalie. Your post was clear and honest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking

      • I hope things turn around soon. Put this on a community board in Sukkur this morning. Blessings.

        • Praying for you. More neighborhoods should do this. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
