Jin-woo's final semester of a pharmacy diploma in Bakersfield
A first-generation student, Jin-woo needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a pharmacy diploma.
🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States1,337 views
Jin-woo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Bakersfield Community College, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,000.
The registrar has said Jin-woo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jin-woo has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jin-woo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Jin-woo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,000 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,150
• Final term tuition: $1,300
• Exam and lab fees: $150
• Textbooks and materials: $400
Every share and every dollar helps.

Sending love, Min-jun. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Curitiba so I could bring a meal. Take care.
