Jacaranda Park needs a free library and reading room - Ryan's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Liverpool are raising $2,950 for a free library and reading room at Jacaranda Park.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Jacaranda Park, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $2,950.
It will serve about 537 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $165
• Materials: $2,500
• Tools hire and delivery: $285
If you're reading this, thank you.
