Feed 257 families each week at the Thursday Table in Bergamo
The the Thursday Table pantry in Bergamo is running low just as demand rises; $2,150 will stock it for 10 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Monday from the back of a community center. We started with 12 families, and now we feed 257 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 49% this school holidays, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Bergamo market and keep every receipt.
Each $20 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,300
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $440
• Baby formula and diapers: $220
• Refrigeration and electricity: $190
I hope life is good to you.

Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together!
Keep going, Samuele. Shared this with my family. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
