In September an inspector told me that my home has a septic backup. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,150 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $155.
The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Thinking of you and your family. Hope you get there. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out
Hope this works out for you. I hope January is when things finally get easier. Love from São Paulo.
Hope things get better soon, Carlo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Sent it to 39 people at work. Thinking of Latina
Wishing you peace, Carlo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. God bless.
