Is there a HVAC technician who can donate a few hours in Amsterdam?

Lisa has a burst pipe behind the wall, and can't afford a licensed HVAC technician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In August an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my three children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $1,100 are beyond us. I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $240. The job should take about three hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request. If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.

      • Keep going, Lisa. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Nice.

        • Thinking of you and your family, Lisa. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Blessings.
