In August an inspector told me that my home has a burst pipe behind the wall. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $320 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed HVAC technician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $45.
The job should take about four hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're a HVAC technician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Best of luck. Shared this with my family. Put this on a community board in Catania this morning. All the best

Hope things get better soon, Reem. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings

Thinking of you, Reem. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We're a small family in Kawasaki but we're thinking of you.
Wishing you peace, Reem. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope December is when things finally get easier.
