I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the Rotterdam Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $4,050. My current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $4,050 goes: • adapted tricycle: $3,500 • Fitting and training sessions: $260 • Delivery and set-up: $95 • First-year servicing plan: $195 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Iris
