Independence for Yağmur: prosthetic leg
A prosthetic leg would give Yağmur independence - we're $8,850 away.
🇳🇱 Netherlands932 views
Yağmur lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Eindhoven Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $8,850.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Yağmur could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $8,850 goes:
• prosthetic leg: $8,250
• Fitting and training sessions: $260
• Delivery and set-up: $65
• First-year servicing plan: $275
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care. Hope the doctors have good news. I hope December is when things finally get easier. Greetings from Amritsar
Good luck. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
