I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at Nakuru General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,300. My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
