Independence for Swetha: stair-climbing aid
Help Swetha get a stair-climbing aid so She can speak with the people around her.
🇮🇳 India948 views
I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the Lucknow Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,200.
My current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• stair-climbing aid: $1,100
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $35
I hope life is good to you.
