Independence for Rajesh: braille note-taker
A braille note-taker would give Rajesh independence - we're $400 away.

I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Rohini Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a braille note-taker. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $400 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $25
• braille note-taker: $345
Glad we found this place.
