I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Mumbai Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $500. My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
