Independence for Pavel: stair-climbing aid
Pavel needs a stair-climbing aid that the health system won't fund; the cost is $450.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at Dhaka General Hospital has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around him. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $450 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $20
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• stair-climbing aid: $395
