Noriko lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Osaka Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,300.
Her current equipment is 8 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Noriko could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.

• stair-climbing aid: $2,000
• Delivery and set-up: $50
• Fitting and training sessions: $250
