Independence for Noman: communication tablet with eye tracking
Help Noman get a communication tablet with eye tracking so He can join the school sports day.
🇧🇩 Bangladesh167 views
I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at the Dhaka Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $700 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $20
• Delivery and set-up: $10
• communication tablet with eye tracking: $670
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

You're not alone, Noman. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 26 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
