Independence for Jéssica: adapted tricycle
Help Jéssica get an adapted tricycle so She can attend work interviews.
🇧🇷 São Paulo, Brazil1,421 views
Jéssica lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the São Paulo Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,000.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Jéssica could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $55
• adapted tricycle: $1,900
• Delivery and set-up: $45
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
