Independence for Georgina: adapted tricycle
An adapted tricycle would give Georgina independence - we're $1,250 away.
🇬🇭 Ghana637 views
Georgina lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Cape Coast Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,250.
Her current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Georgina could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $1,150
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• First-year servicing plan: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

stay strong. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 7 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
