I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Bologna Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a communication tablet with eye tracking. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $3,700.
My current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. delivery and set-up comes first ($145) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Ask me anything else.
