I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at the Malang Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended a specialist standing frame. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350. My current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks. With the right equipment I could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered. Where the $1,350 goes: • specialist standing frame: $1,200 • Fitting and training sessions: $55 • Delivery and set-up: $30 • First-year servicing plan: $65 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
