Ika was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in June. The oncology team at Jakarta Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Ika is 41, worked as a taxi driver until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Jakarta Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $550 goes: • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90 • Transport to Jakarta Cancer Centre: $165 • Household costs while unable to work: $295 If you're reading this, thank you. - Bagus
