Home care fund for Wondimu in Gondar
Wondimu, 96, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $350 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 96. After a stroke last July Wondimu can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Wondimu desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Wondimu worked all of his life as a factory worker, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $350 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $65
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $40
• Part-time carer (four months): $245
