I'm caring for my mother, who's 85. After a diagnosis of dementia Tabitha can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Tabitha desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Tabitha worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $600 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $55
• Part-time carer (four months): $490
• Medication and prescriptions: $55
Every share and every dollar helps.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Tabitha?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about hospital bed and mattress rental, advice is welcome too.
hang in there, Kipchoge. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier
Hope this works out for you. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best
Thanks for sharing this. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in São Paulo this morning. Take care.
Stay strong, Kipchoge. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
