Home care fund for Sherika in Half-Way Tree
Help Sherika stay in her own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 75. After worsening Parkinson's disease Sherika can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sherika desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Sherika worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $680
• Medication and prescriptions: $190
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $90
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $140
With deep gratitude,
Aaliyah
