Home care fund for Shankar in Pune
Shankar can't afford the care He needs after a stroke last June; we're asking for $250.

I'm caring for my father, who's 92. After a stroke last June Shankar can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Shankar desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Shankar worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $250 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $30
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90
• Medication and prescriptions: $130

Thinking of you and your family. Hope the doctors have good news. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Venice.
Sending good thoughts, Sudhakar. This could happen to any of us. We're a small family in Seoul but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Seoul.
Wishing you the best, Sudhakar. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Pune.
