Home care fund for Rudi in Jakarta
Rudi, 77, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $650 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 77. After worsening Parkinson's disease Rudi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Rudi desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Rudi worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $650 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $110
• Part-time carer (eight months): $480
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $60
