Home care fund for Priscila in Rio de Janeiro
Priscila can't afford the care She needs after a heart attack; we're asking for $1,800.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 82. After a heart attack Priscila can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Priscila desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Priscila worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $1,250
• Medication and prescriptions: $260
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $135
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $155
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending good thoughts, Marcos. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Johannesburg.
