Majid can't afford the care He needs after a fall and hip fracture; we're asking for $2,900.

I'm caring for my father, who's 80. After a fall and hip fracture Majid can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Majid desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Majid worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $2,900 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $1,600
• Medication and prescriptions: $860
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $260
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $180
